And in the book of Matthew we essentially see Pontius Pilate ask the crowd this same question as they decided whether to release Barabbas the prisoner or Jesus the Christ. And each day we must decide who’s side we stand on. Whether it be with Jesus or with another that we choose to ally ourselves with. However, it’s wonderful to know that when we choose to stay with Jesus he already has everything figured out and has already won the battle.
